We are tabling at this year's Jefferson Ave Art Festival and are proud to celebrate Black and brown-skinned image, ageless play, and infinite imagination with a chalk walk commemorating our Queen of Animated Voice, Cree Summer.
Slut-shaming, also known as slut-bashing, is the idea of shaming and/or attacking a woman or a girl for being sexual, having one or more sexual partners, acknowledging sexual feelings, and/or acting on sexual feelings.
This roundtable will center the experiences of black women, femmes, and sex workers (labor included but not limited to stripping/exotic dancing). Roundtable guidelines will be discussed at the beginning of the event.

We will be expanding the definition of violence as a whole by exploring its different forms and our responses to it. We will also breakdown distinctions between community violence and systemic violence, nonviolent resistance and violent resistance, types of movement building for black and brown liberation.
